Taylor has spent the majority of her life around athletes. She ultimately chose to focus on gymnastics where she earned a spot on the 2017 Level 10 Junior Olympic National Team. Taylor participated in the college recruiting process but ultimately chose to forego competing in NCAA gymnastics in favor of concentrating on her true love, sport psychology. She earned her M.S. in Sport Psychology from Florida State University. She completed her Master’s Thesis on the impact of team tenure, previous team success, and group size on the development of team cohesion while also analyzing how team cohesion varies between interactive and coactive sports teams and how team cohesion development changes over time.
Prior to earning her Master’s Degree, Taylor completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida State University. She is currently a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
Taylor has consulting experience with youth and collegiate sports, performance arts, and team cohesion. She regularly volunteers with the Sport Psychology program at American Twisters Gymnastics in Coconut Creek, FL. She has also served as coach for youth and collegiate gymnastics.
